Viramontes, Maria Guadalupe
On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, Maria Guadalupe Viramontes was called home to be with God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit at the age of 75 years. Maria was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, devout Catholic, and friend to many. She was born on September 26, 1943 to Felipe and Isabel Valdivia in El Rancho de Arriba, Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico. Jesus Jaimes Viramontes, the love of her life, and Maria were married on June 4, 1969 (50 years) with family and friends in El Rancho de Arriba, Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico. Maria is survived by her husband Jesus Jaimes Viramontes, sons and daughter Manuel, Antonio, Pablo, and Guadalupe. Maria is also remembered by her daughters-in-law: Alicia, Shawnna, Elizabeth, grandchildren: Matthew, Victoria, Michael, Isabel, Daniel, Andrea, Isaiah, Jadyn, Anthony, Kristen, Eduardo, and Devyn. Maria also has brothers and sisters, Rodolfo, Felipe, Manuel, Salvador, Alberto, Jose, Teresa, and Maria de Jesus that will remember her along with her nieces and nephews.
Maria was strong in her Catholic faith especially through her passing. She always walked in God’s presence and lived her life through God’s image. She shared many special memories with her family. She especially loved hosting breakfast on Sunday mornings as a place for her family to come together to live life, love each other, and stay as one in God’s name.
A Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Continental Funeral Home

A Catholic Mass Service will be held on Wednesday, July 24th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Solitude
4561 E. Cesar Chavez Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90022.
A Burial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 24th following the church service at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier.
