In Loving Memory of Carlos M. Mena
September 28, 1938 – July 11, 2026.
With deep love and gratitude, we announce the passing of our father & beloved husband Carlos M. Mena, who peacefully departed this life at the age of 87.
Carlos was born in Nicaragua in 1938, emigrated to the US in 1956, met the love of his life, and they married in 1960. He lived a life defined by strength, kindness, dignity, and unwavering love for his family. He touched countless lives with his gentle spirit, and generous heart. Whether sharing stories, delicious meals, cheering on the Dodgers or simply enjoying the company of those he loved, he made everyone around him feel special.
He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father in law, brother, uncle, and friend. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, watching them grow, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. He will be remembered for his wisdom, sense of humor, resilience, and the example he set through a
life well lived.
He was preceded in death by his, parents, sisters and son.
He is lovingly survived by the love of his life, Angelica,daughters, Carolina and Alicia,son in laws, Richie and Danny,his 7 grandchildren, Mangie, Tiffany, Carlos, Bobby, Daniel, Domenick and Danicia,his 5 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Ashelyn, Lily, Donnie and DJ,along with his sisters, Aury and Gretchen,many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that his love and legacy will continue to live on through the family he cherished so deeply. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew him.
