And you made sure wherever you went, everyone knew your Puerto Rican pride. You knew exactly who you were, and you carried it proudly every day of your life. But what we'll remember most
are the little things that were simply you— the jokes, the faces, the goofiness, and that thing you'd always do...
You'd stop, point, look right at us, laugh while stomping away with your head thrown back holding your stomach leaving us smiling without even trying and somehow making a bad day okay. Luis, you touched more lives
than you could have ever known. You were a son, a brother, a father, an uncle, a cousin, a friend—and so deeply loved. Though our hearts are heavy and we weren't ready to say goodbye, your laughter will live in our stories, your love in our hearts, and your memory in all of us for the rest of our lives.
