María Uvaldina Liberato, de 90 años de edad, falleció el 24 de Junio de 2026 en Gardena, California.

Nació el 13 de Febrero de 1936 en Corozo, San José de las Matas, República Dominicana. Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte su hermano Francisco y sus hermanas Ramona, Chela, y Chucha.

Le sobreviven su hijo Miguel Angel Liberato, su hermano Marcelo, su nuera Myrna, sus nietos Miguel Jesus, Jorge, y Marcos, y sus bisnietos Ellie y Rhys.

María era miembra de Iglesia La Resurrección. Después de muchos años trabajando en una fábrica, se jubiló y dedicó sus días a disfrutar de la compañía de su familia, a cocinar, y a cuidar de sus nietos.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio el lunes 6 de Julio, de 7:30 P.M. a 8:30 P.M., en Iglesia La Resurrección, ubicada en 12711 Menlo Ave, Hawthorne, CA. El servicio conmemorativo tendrá lugar el martes 7 de Julio a las 9:00 A.M. en Continental Funeral Home, 13806 Hawthorne Blvd, Hawthorne, CA. En lugar de flores, por favor honre la vida de María haciendo una donación a Iglesia La Resurrección.
 

Maria Uvaldina Liberato, age 90, passed away June 24th, 2026, in Gardena, California.

She was born February 13th, 1936 in Corozo, San José de las Matas, Dominican Republic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Francisco and sisters Ramona, Chela, and Chucha.

She is survived by her son Miguel Angel Liberato, brother Marcelo, daughter-in-law Myrna, grandsons Miguel Jesus, Jorge, and Marcos, and great-grandchildren Ellie and Rhys.

Maria was a member of La Resurrección church. After many years as a factory worker, she retired and spent her days enjoying the company of her family, cooking, and helping raise her grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 7:30 PM -8:30 PM on Monday, July 6th at La Resurrección church, 12711 Menlo Ave, Hawthorne, CA. A memorial service will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7th at Continental Funeral Home, 13806 Hawthorne Blvd, Hawthorne, CA. In lieu of flowers, please honor Maria's life by donating to La Resurrección church.
