Ruth Mota Ramos

Ruth Mota Ramos, known lovingly as "Cuca," passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 11, 2026, at the age of 74. A lifelong resident of Southern California, Ruth was born on February 18, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, and had been residing in Hacienda Heights at the time of her passing. 

Ruth was a simple woman who believed deeply in being of service to others. She did not measure her life in material riches but in the love, she shared with those around her. Her true wealth was found in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and most importantly in her huge heart and her unwavering devotion to family. She always looked for the best in people, and those who knew her understood that her capacity for love was boundless. 

Ruth is survived by her sons, Joey and Ignacio, her grandsons, Angel, Christopher, Evan, and Ayden, and her great-grandsons Etthan and Emmett; her daughters, Monique, Claudia, and Angelina, her granddaughters Lainie, Paige, Kimberly, Bella, and Leila; her sisters, Frances, Margaret, Roseanne, and Eleanor; and her brother, Arthur. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness. 

A woman of deep and devout Catholic faith, Ruth now rests in the peace she so faithfully believed in. 

Her family carries her memory with these words: "To our mother in heaven, thank you for always loving us and guiding us. Even though you are no longer here with us, we can still feel your love guiding us. You will always be in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly. Until we meet again."
